| What do you find to laugh about? I love Jackie Gleason and the Honeymooners, also Lucille Ball. I have ordered THE READER'S DIGEST. What do you find funny? |

| I use my tv as a clear the brain before sleep by setting it for twenty minutes. I have done this for so many years that sometimes I fall asleep if I turn the tv on - in twenty minutes - when I want to watch something. Anyway, my sleep time coincides with Frazier - which puts me to sleep laughing.
I wake up to news. I could wake up to Lucille Ball, but it's too early to be funny. |

| DK, Good way to fall asleep. The Honeymooners or Bob Newhart knock me out. |

| Every night before we go to bed, we watch a comedy. We have CD's for "Keeping up Appearances", "Bob Newhart" (the Chicago and Vermont series), "MASH", "Mary Tyler Moore", "Wings" and "Frazier". It's just a matter of what we want to re-run. My wife usually says,"Let's watch something stupid and then we'll go to bed." She is referring to one of the comedies mentioned above.
We often turn off the TV and take a diversion by watching CD's. Of course we have other more serious CD's including the Errol Flynn classics: "Don Juan, Captain Blood, Robin Hood and Sea Hawk". My wife's favorite actor is Errol Flynn.
Laughter is good medicine. Telling jokes also helps. |

| Abe, Which Newhart do you like better--the Chicago one or the Vermont one? Harold, Welcome to you. Glad you are here. |

| Judy thought I was getting amorous the other night, grabbing and groping under the covers. I was looking for the remote. |

| That was definitely the kind of joke told on stage. Great! So far as I can tell no group was disparaged - it was just plain funny! |

| I am wrong of course, but I miss the old time humor. Before political correctness took over. |

| The remote joke isn't the one I dreamed. That one isn't politically incorrect, but it isn't for Sunday School either. |

| If we can't find anything funny, we can always try looking at ourselves. Laughing at ourselves keeps us humble. |

| I had the cutest cartoon of a bunch of Flamingos standing in a row on one foot as they do, all with the right foot on the ground except one. Two of the right footers are whispering, "there's one who doesn't get it in every crowd."
A similar cartoon was one about a conference on multi-cultural diversity. The MC says, and now for someone who really knows what it's like to be different. Onto the stage walks an outer space creature with eyeglasses but multiple legs flying everywhere, two holding the speach titled, "overcoming stereotypes." |
