Here I am = )

I found you guys last night and have posted a few times already. I was reading one post and found out I am suppose to post here too. Wow, I used the word "post" a lot there hehe.

Anyway, my name is Jim Ellis. I made the decision to start writing over three years ago and recently published my book "Gifted". I have also written many poems on another site for the past few years. I am a single dad, my 19 year old daughter is living with me still although I think she is beginning to consider moving out based on some of the questions she has been asking me. You know, "How do you pay bills", "How much does it cost to have your own place"...that sounds like she is thinking to me. I just want the best for her and I have never managed to go to college or get a good career. I do have hopes that someday my writing will become a valuable financial source, time will tell.

Currently, I live in Pigeon Forge, TN working in retail but there is no money here in this tourist trap so I will be leaving when my lease is up. I have no idea what I am going to do or where we will go, only that I need to find something stable once and for all.
