My goodness, Joe, I agree with you again! That is a great article about corporations recognizing the value of their employees and following the Ford very practical philosophy - if you want them to buy your product they need sufficient income to do so. I know I read that before, but it is good to renew such a simple idea.

Wouldn't a whole new era of corporate responsibility be a miracle? That would be something for the religious right to pray for, to prayer circle for, to believe in and picket for.

I do know of local companies that do take their employees into consideration; in fact, the Affordable Health Care Act was founded partially to meet the needs of small businesses who wanted their employees to have insurance benefits but needed an "exchange" to find affordable insurance for them.

The main thing I learned about Henry Ford - in a college history class, was that he kept track of profits by measuring the height of a stack of sales slips. He calculated the first stack, and from then on, just measured the stacks, in order to save time.

Now if only companies can follow ths policy, people

would be better off, Oh yes we just hit 16 Trillion Dollars

in debt a few mintes ago....
