PostSubject: Overwhelmed   Overwhelmed EmptyThu Jun 28, 2012 5:49 pm

I am finally able to sit here and type a few words. I aam on lots of pain medication along with a pain patch and still in major pain. I read all of your kind wishes on the Grace thread. Such warmth of spirit you all have, how kind and uplifiting your words. I feel enveloped by love. Goblin, your picture of the puppy is really a picture of me being held in the arms of all of the kind people on this message board. Thank you to each of the 1224 people who sent good wishes my way.

Tomorrow I will try to put on some clothes.

My David has taken great care of me. He looked all around this house for my instructions concerning the message board posting and never found them. I had written them on a small legal pad and left it on the desk. His first move at the desk was to turn over that sheet so he could have a clean sheet to write phone numbers on and he never went back to it. By the time he found it, I could write on my iphone. I did not have the charger to that with me, so just learning how to write an email to Ann on that depleted my batter.

I am so glad to be home. Tomorrow is a new day.

Love,

Betty

Every day should get a little bit better. Like everyone is saying, just rest and relax (for you, that might be the hard part) and before you know it, this will be behind you.

"...I like the new avatar betty, and the new betty to go with it..." went the goblin somewhat boiled under a relentless sun in a bistro whose air conditioning consisted of nothing more than an open door that went on to an open window, adding "...well, it's events like these that just remind one that there's more to writing than just that fame and fortune, so give it your best shot betty, write as if to say here "by this post am I now"..."

nah, the goblin somehow guessed that moment betty awoke, she'd rush to across to the bedroom wardrobe and pick her best fitting jeans and matching sweeter tying her hair into a poneytail again, thinking "to hell with school now, it's a beautiful day too, and besides, David promised to take me on a spin on his harley to the ice cream parlour, where I want to choose out our single on that jukebox and dance with him", and yes, the goblin was just the same, for when he woke, he too rushed off onto forumland, the place that was ever that which one made of it, saying "...yes, I like my virtual reality here, so I'm choosing the next song of that jukebox betty, how about this one, care to hit the floor with us..."

"...well betty, after all these years now, I've finally figured out what's wrong with my daughter, whose love of booze, boys, and covering the floor with her garments, used or otherwise, has all lent a certain credence to the notion that she is in fact a homosexual boy just trapped inside a girl's body..." went the goblin, adding "...trouble is that I just don't know who to address this kind of problem to..."

("...how's betty then..." asked the goblin)

repost from elsewhere, writer's forum, the "what did you do today" thread

"...oh the usual stuff, I was plotting the downfall of humanity in the bistro as usual only to realize that, to all intents and purposes, they didn't really need my assistance at all being perfect capable of their own demise without me even..." mused the goblin rubbing on his chin while downing coffee and admiring the sunny day outside, just trying to think of something intellectually awe-inspiring worth relating to the very readers here whom he imagined probably didn't really go in for those sort of posts anyway, saying "...ah yes, you see how I suffer now, but I guess it's only human after all, I mean you are probably human then, unless you're one of those writertypes who look very similar indeed, but who had I suspect taken an evolutionary misturn somewhere..."

unrelated to writertypes of course
