Dear Joe,
What is that flower? Here, the goldenrod are blooming along tha dirt roads and in the pastures. yellow lovliness.
Goldenrod grows like a weed. It is a weed. Now it is found in florists bouquets as royal as a rose. I love that. It is, for me, a wild one who made it big. I feel an affinity with wild things.

Even forsythia is a weed somewhere. Along this dirt road that I live on, Indian Blankets grow along both sides.

My son is alergic to goldenrod, too. It dries well and can be used in dried flower arrangements.
