That's great news, Shelagh. Some prospective customers have been waiting for this.

I think I told you about a Professor at the University of Constance that visited Goecklingen this past summer and interviewed Hermann Frech. With a Stipend from the University of Constance they made a film about the Flakhelfer during WWII. Today was the first showing and it was shown at the Universum Cinema in Landau. It was 85 minutes long. Hermann played a large role in the film. They said they will make a CD out of it and it will be longer in they had to cut out much due to the limitations placed on them for making the film. They interviewed many of the surviving Flakhelfer from the Landau area. It is very interesting and I think it will most likely be shown at some point on TV as a series. At the end of the film, Hermann plays Amazing Grace on the piano – very touching.



That was our afternoon.
