Welcome back ! Do what I did, I put everything on

Rolodex cards, very handy since I have different log

in info at different sites, I also put names and addresses

so I don't have to go to my address book..

I rested my palms on the edge of this netbook and erased my post. Welcome back!

I have the same problem. I google D. K. Christi and sometimes when I see the variation, my signons return.

Thank you all for the warm welcome back. I've been so busy lately that I can't even figure what I've been so busy with.

I picked up my guitar near the end of 2011 and have been chipping away the rust that has built up over the years. My husband and I have been writing and recording new songs (he plays bass). We are in the beginning stage of forming a heavy metal group.

I have been working on Book Two in the Weeping for Raven trilogy. I am roughly 52,000 words into the first draft.

I've been working a lot more hours, which is great but exhausting. The schedule varies from afternoon shit to morning shift. I'm not a daytime person.

Those are the first things that come to mind when asked what I've been up to.

I hope you and your husband are having fun making music.
There is a part of the brain that never lets go of music, old or new, once learned. It is a special place in the brain that keeps the beat and remembers all the words so many years later.

The brain is healed by song and music.

I am not so sure about Rap, but there must be brains that need that too.

You really have been busy.

My son played metal guitar in high school. He and his friends formed a band they called Redline. They were fairly successful in the local area. I later learned that he composed most of their music. Then he went to college and discovered calculus, but he married a musician. Like Betty said, it's a special place in the brain.

Have you ever read Anne Lamott's Bird by Bird? She writes a lot about sh**ty first drafts. I completely understand that concept.

We are just glad you found your way back.
