So true, Stella, but it also means that it is especially important for us to go over our work "with a fine-toothed comb," if I can over-use a metaphor, before we send it in.

Absolutely. I just went through my next book and found all sorts of errors and a problem I hadn't existed until I was able to take a fresh look at it. So, hopefully, the publisher won't find as many corrections for me to make.
