| No writing today. I needed a change of scene, so I designed the cover. Here it is: |

| If you are open to comment..colors seem a little pale to grab attention. Also, I notice that the name authors have their name large - sometimes larger than the book name - otherwise positively charming I didn't realize they were going into the sea until your cover |

| Thanks for the comments, DK! This has been one fun adventure. I'm not sure exactly how it will all end, but it will be dramatic! |

| Are the shells, seahorses, etc., motifs from the story? |

| Love the dolphins!
They remind me a little of Douglas Adams.
I like the colors, too.

| Dear Shelagh,
I wish I had your touch for covers! In Florida, the ocean is more aquamarine. I have no idea what the color of the ocean is in England. I think that is what DK is talking about. Where she lives the color of the ocean is crystal aqua. She can say if I am wrong.
I look forward to the new book. I love your excitement and ingenuity.
I have worked on Wooffer's Woods covers 'til I am mostly blind. I had David come in and critique. I have 27 covers to re-do, but I am glad for his input. By the time all of these stories, your's, mine and everyone elses are published, I will be bald for sure.
I am glad every day for the knowledge of the people who post here. What courage you all have!
Love,
Betty |

| Thanks, everyone! Joe, the book should be out on Kindle by Christmas and available from Lulu. It might not be available in print on Amazon until after Christmas. - LC wrote:

You'll have to buy the book to find out. I had a synopsis in my head two days ago but forgot to write it down -- now it's gone and my mind won't focus on it again until the book's finished -- but if it does, I'll write it down and post it. My mind has also come up with at least ten different endings -- but I probably won't use any of them; I'll just go with the flow. It's more fun that way! |

| I like it. The author's name could be enhanced, i.e., positioning, size. |

| Thank you! Ann, I've just been busy with work mostly. I work from 4:30am to 11:30am with a client, then keep up on all the paperwork and scheduling as a manager which includes meetings with my boss and others as things come up. My job is challenging to say the least, but in the early morning hours it gives me a chance to write some. I am currently working on a Christmas story. It is in the editing stage, which is a challenge for me, but I know I shall prevail. I spend time taking photos for fun between my writing, family things, and work. I enjoy the peace it gives me while I am out by myself trying to capture moments in time. I am on facebook a lot trying to keep up with family and friends as well. My daughter is in college and living with a girl and will soon have a third girl living with them. I don't get to see her as often as I would like, but such is life. Oh, and I am going to take a course this next semester to become a nursing assistant. I haven't gone to school since I graduated high school back in 1983, so I'm a little nervous. This is my life in a nutshell. I miss people here, so I've decided to stop by to see how everyone is. Vickie |

| Glad to see you agree with me that the author name needs to be more emphasized in size and style...:-)
Glad also to catch up. I do watch Facebook. |

Okay, seventy thousand words completed and the ending written in my mind. The book should be finished by the end of next week. Here's the synopsis: Dell and Emmelisa Planemaker have only just returned from a space mission to follow their father’s trail of light and they are off on a new adventure! Another strange looking man turns up on the old computer warning them not to go back to Hardwareland, where they’d trained to become astronauts. Undaunted, the children cannot contain their curiosity. When a group of criminals attempt to steal money from Mrs. Planemaker, Dell and Emmelisa set about learning how to stop them. They have a lot to learn. Back in Hardwareland, they attend cyber crime courses, take scuba diving lessons and undergo submersible pilot training. With all the learning and training behind them, the intrepid aquanauts are ready to begin their next mission: to fish out the cyber criminals. |

| Dear Shelagh, Like I have said before, you are a FORCE! I love the lead in to the new adventure of Dell and Emmelisa. The future of planet earth is in the deep ocean waters. I wish our two astronauts many wonderful discoveries and visions of the many marvels of the sea. Love, Betty

| Please make your name more visible :-) ... and congratulations. Had to stop writing for a while to do my presentation on Saturday morning. Need to prepare my talk.
Also have my new assignment for my Southwest Spotlight column - Lions' 50th Anniversary. I'm pretty impressed by this organization so far. |

| Dear DK, I am so envious of people who can speak and give talks. I would shake right off the stage and vibrate the podium with me. Love, Betty |

| Thanks Betty!
DK, I did increase the font size for my name but it looked as though it was part of the title. When I make it into the big time, I'll increase the size accordingly! It gives me something to aim for -- my name in large font! LOL! |

| My belief is that you are already in the big time - everyone just doesn't know it so your name needs to tell them.
Can you add you name to the bottom in big print that matches the font on the title but in reverse color - blue on white? Just a thought....
I'm big on big font names after I saw all the name authors with their names even bigger than the book titles (fiction books) and the vanity authors with tiny names and big titles. |
