If you came upon the instant cure for jock itch, would you tell the world for free or would you hold it in your brain and wait until you could capitalize.

I wonder about this stuff because I have come upon the simple cure, quite by accident. It works within hours.

Anyone have an itch?

Love,

Betty

It all started with my quest to find the best smelling fabric softener. My last choice was Snuggle Blue Sparkle. It was not long before I was in misery, all red with a burning itch. I tried ALL the over the counter stuff but it just got worse. I went to town and bought all new underwear and 'Free and Clear' detergent and softener. The situation improved so I knew I was dealing with contact dermatitis which is very similar to jock itch.

I was standing there in the kitchen slicing jalapenos when I remembered my first experience roasting and peeling jalapenos without wearing gloves. My hands were on fire for three days. No amount of washing would take the burn away. Finally, I had googled 'what to do about burning from jalapenos' and the one answer that worked was an old Indian remedy - wash your hands in milk.

So, I washed my self with milk and instantly felt relief.

There you have the cure. Milk. If 958843

How cool! (No pun intended.)

I had heard that it was better to drink milk than water to ease the burning in you mouth and tum, which is why we usually serve a bit of sour cream with Meican food, but I hadn't thought of skin application.

Good for you, Betty

I suggest it's even better to avoid eating what makes your mouth and tum burn in the first place. lol

Probably, but capsaicin, the thing in peppers that make them hot, is supposed to be good for you.

It's a matter of getting adjusted to the heat.

But I never heard of anyone who died from a lack of hot peppers in their diet. LOL

It is interesting how many simple home remedies work quicker and are much cheaper than the things on the pharmacy shelves.

Lemon juice and baking soda is the best thing for an upset tummy and um, diarreah. Taste a bit icky but brings almost an instant cure.
