Finally, my Blogspot is up and running...

I set the page up some time ago, but have been so involved with other stuff, I never posted a blog. Couldn't figure out the best way to use it.

I know this ought to be posted under blogs, but my experience is that it gets more attention here.

Oh, yes, I stole it from my website, but it's a start. I'm hoping that I can find ways to draw more attention to the second site.

Oh, and BTW, I replaced the "Incident" pdf on my website's "Document" page with a more professional looking one than my first attempt. I still need to work with he cover font, but the inside is much better now.

I learn a little more with every attempt.

Ann it was very interesting very interesting saga I couldn't get commented it, it didn't take it in. really fascinating story.

Harry's point about commenting is important.

I've been exploring my Blogspot options and have some questions.

My comments selection options are:

Anyone - includes Anonymous Users
Registered Users - includes OpenID
Users with Google Accounts
Only members of this blog

My current setting is the second, Registered users.

I have some concerns about the security of the first, but I want to hear my reader's responses, especially from friends like Harry. JoElle didn't have a problem becoming a member, apparently, but I don't want to limit comments to only members.

At the same time, I don't want to have to monitor too closely for spam.

Would anyone who is more familiar with blogging have an idea?

I think I was able to become a member easily because I have a Google/blogspot account.

I don't want to hijack your thread by posting my blogspot site address, besides I never blog.

But anyone with a Google/Gmail/blogspot should be able to easily become a follower.

It was simple, Ann. And as a comment here, I think the last sentence in the first post should read 'Hill country' rather than 'hill county.' Very well done, by the way.
