Life after death Empty
PostSubject: Life after death   Life after death EmptySat Jul 09, 2011 5:27 am

I wrote a book about life after death called 'A Walk On The Other Side' it is all about my near death experiences. Has anyone else had a near death experience and what do you feel about them?

I believe they are hallucinations induced by a chemical that a gland at the base of the brain dumps into the bloodstream when death is about to occur. The physiological purpose for it is to reduce the trauma of death. (I don't recall the names of the gland and the drug.)

I am similarly doubtful about out-of-body experiences and alien abductions, encounters and sightings.

And I believe that most people who report such exeriences do so because they want to believe in them, want to be included among a special group, and secretly think they are the only ones who are making it up. (Present company excepted, of course. Smile )

Al,
I can understand your skepticism. It is difficult to believe in something not experienced.
I had an OBE and it was real. I didn't imagine it.

I wish Ron Kruger were on this forum. He had a NDE and wrote a book about it. The title to his book, "A Higher Good"

I’ve had many IN-BODY experiences. You may not believe me, but it’s true…what a trip. I find myself in a forum, (sort of room) with writers who talk about strange stuff. I think I’m having one now.

That's why it's a writers' forum. Unique folks.

I found this book at the library. Very interesting. Gives a whole other point of view on near death.

It also covers astral travel and out of body experiences.

I accept that the experiences people have are real to them. I have had spiritual experiences that were very real to me yet would seem just a coincidence to someone else. Fortunately the world has a place for all of us.
