Joe, love the pictures.
Yesterday I went on a trip to Koblenz. It was a beautiful trip along the Rhine river. The event was a horticultural show at the Fortress, "Festung Ehrenbreitstein" located high above the city of Koblenz. A great variety of flowers, also garden vegetable plants that were a work of art and beauty. It was a nice sunny day and great to be outdoors. Beauty abounds all around us. We just need to be aware of it and enjoy what nature provides.

I was humming the song, "Wonderful World". It begins with the words, "I see trees of green, red roses too..."

Beautiful! Love Maya Angelou, red roses. Shelagh, the lavender blossoms are so delicate. They look familiar. What are they?

I took the photo last year, Ann, but the climber is out in bloom right now (clematis).

What a beautiful thread! It's too early for flowers at my house. Took my van in to be serviced, and the mechanic said he had to scrape the ice off his sunglasses this morning before coming in to work.
