A new Arab world is coming " FREEDOM," for the Arab people,
no longer will they put up with tyrants, dictators and Royalty
who hoard wealth from the people. It's a shame that this country
always backs dictators and in the end we do get a kick in the

Yes, they have the benefit of youth and a world in which electronic communication has brought knowledge and power. The U.S. is aging and losing its momentum to a younger world. We're not alone. Europe is aging also. The youth and energy of the world is found in South American nations, Middle Eastern nations and African Nations. Add China and India.

Nadia Oweidat presented a good analysis. She also pointed out that media reports have distorted the reality of the situation. That is often the case where opinions based on media reports.

I do believe that the road ahead will be a rocky one. The word democracy is not a magic wand. People in these countries look for a role model. Can America be that model? I think we need to clean up our own act and that starts at the ballot box.

The stock markets go wild with speculation, especially concerning reliable sources of oil. There is no shortage, however speculation of possible difficulties cause the prices to soar.

I think we should use our own reserves. It could result in bringing down the import price oil and then our reserves could be replenished. That is not intended to imply thqt we stop finding alternatives to fossil fuels, but rathe to buy us time.

I'm optimistic about the future. The Middle East is on the brink of a new future. With our own revolution at the ballot box, we can look forward to a new future full of hope for prosperity, and at the top of the list, care for our environment. Whatever decisions are made, the question, "Will this hurt or help our environment?" If it's good for the environment, it is good for us, and of course if it will harm the environment, it will be harmful to us.

It is high time we really took the fact that oil is soon to be a thing of the past seriously.
We need to break away from fossil fuels now. We have the technology to change, it seems so stupid that we are just waiting for it all to run out before we do something. We should be changing now. Every home should have a wind turbine for power and solar panels. Farms need fields full of sun flowers for oil.
Bring back watermills! Lets use what nature can give us.
Then maybe we might just settle down on this planet and get along with one another.

That may be! We're sure in trouble, then. These nations are largely characterized by caste systems, tribal warfare (hatred of "diversity"), and endless need for financial aid from the aging West.

I once heard on a TV show that in South Africa there are farmers that run their tractors on sunflower oil and they worked out that they only needed to devote 10% of their crop to growing them to provide enough fuel for a year.
Human waste (dung) produces butane gas which can be used to fuel converted petrol engines. The solutions are around us and we just dont seem to get it!
I guess it is all down to money, profit, greed......
The middle eastern oil countries are too important to todays economy it should not be.
