What is your favorite cologne or perfume ?

Mine : " Royal Bain De Champagne," By Caron and " Eau De Cologne,"
created in 1709 by Jean Marie Farina in Germany.

I gave up on perfume as my coworkers were sensitive to it.
If a customer wore perfume they complained for hours.

Mine is TABAC.

Long ago, when I was new to Publish America and their message board, I sent Carol an enormous old Bible that was dated 1776. Inside were many news clippings and poems that the original owner had tucked between the pages along with a hank of red hair, several obituaries, and saved leaves and flowers. I sent it to her because she loved to discover the history and geneology of people and the owner of the Bible was a mystery to be solved. She was able to track down many far distant relatives, but no-one to whom the Bible meant anything special.

During our posting conversations, I mentioned that when I was a child I longed for a bottle of Evening In Paris perfume. It was in a lovely vicks-bottle blue bottle in the Five and Dime in those days. I was convinced in my youth that the perfume would make me beautiful.

Carol sent me a bottle of it that had been in her aunt's belongs when she passed away. It is on a shelf in my library along with her books. It is a beautiful memory of her.

As a teenager growing up in Brooklyn I worked
part time for a Drug store and they sold Evening In Paris,
I think you can still get it.

Evening in Paris perfume smells a whole lot like Jergen's lotion. I have come to believe that no amount of magic potions make a person beautiful. Beauty is in the spirit and has nothing to do with teeth, hair, bones, clothes or toe nails or perfume. Wouldn't it have been lovely if we could have understood that when we felt so ugly. Now, I look out of my eyes and see beauty all around me, in the people, the land, the animals and all of you and in myself. Not a single one wearing Evening In Paris Perfume. God bless Carol.

I believe that seeing beauty in people and our surroundings is a reflection of the person.

I'm reminded of the song: "You are so beautifu - to mel" Just listened to it on UTube. A great and uplifting song.
