| I have done a lot of dumb stuff in my life. Eating a piece of frozen left over pumpkin pie may take the cake.
Once, long ago, I put a pumpkin pie out for the chickens. Chickens do like pumpkin pie (the filling) but not the crust. They had such a good time with that pie, walked all over it, ate it willy nilly, slung crust far and wide, smiled and cackled to beat the band.
Tomorrow they will have the treat of this pumpkin pie. I can see them smiling as I type. Joy like that is beautiful to behold and hard to describe.
