Does Anyone Know Any Good News?

All I see on the news is trouble--fighting, bad weather wrecks, murder, mayhem, etc.,

Is there anything else?

I published a lovely children's book this week.

Shelagh published my book--I love it.

Abe sent me beautiful songs sung by his daughter and himself.

Betty sent me a beautiful rose picture.


The rest of you posted interesting things for me to read.

It's going to be 80 degrees in Florida this week and I was not hired for one of the jobs in Michigan for which I applied; still one to go...

The path at Barefoot beach was exceptional. I saw a gigantic gopher turtle, a bald eagle and an armadillo. Oh, forgot the raccoon! However, raccoons are sort of ordinary With the size of the white caps, I was grateful I was not sailing.

I manged to get "The Valentine" up at Kindle as a $.99 book.

The blizzard in Michigan is over and the sun is out.

Ghost Orchid has been selling in my publisher's top ten for weeks...with an occasional slip to 12 or up to 8 or so. The newly released Romance of My Dreams 2 is in their top 15. These are Amazon.com states - may be better even at All Romance Books or BN.com or other sites.

My books are coming along nicely.

What a beautiful book!

It took a bit longer than that, Alice. It hasn't yet gone to distribution on Amazon. The book has 60 pages and will have taken up at least three weeks of my time. Forever Travels has 272 pages and Forever Friends 280 pages. That's four and a half times the length of your book. Both anthologies took considerably longer than four and a half times the time I spent on your book. I'm on a learning curve the same as anyone else. As I learn, I speed up -- but it is still a slow process. There are 64 files in the folder I created to make your book: 24 jpeg files, 9 PDF files (covers and interiors), 12 photoshop files (front and back covers), 14 jpeg images of front and back covers and 5 Word documents. All that to produce one final Word document and two cover images (front and back).

Good news is I finished my photography book, now working
on my book on my art ( paintings ) both should be available
soon. To forget about the freezing temperature which is -11
degrees at 10:30 PM I'm eating egg salad....
