Finished shopping for tomorrow's dinner - green and white chili and queso. Simmering the beans as I write this.

Taking a break from housework to check mail and this site. As soon as kitchen and beans are finished, it's to the laptop in my bedroom writing space to work on whatever comes up for the Redstone series.

By the way, we are back from golfing--the weather was perfect! What an idyllic pasttme. I can see where people get hooked on the game.

Hi Alice,

I like to write under the 33rd street viaduct in Astoria Queens. It was my post of many years while homeless, and I wrote my first book there. Though housed now, my girlfriend lets me visit the old spot to write and keep up on local news.

Not many people out today, though. Winter is too cold for them, but that's because they spend too much time indoors. Very Happy

Tonight I am looking out my windows through the blinds at the darkness. It is blackness that I see. I was hoping to spy my daughter's cat whom has been transported here for safe keeping until the closing of their new house. That has been many days in the waiting. What bunk banks and mortgage companies, and title companies are! What power they have over lives who are waiting.

Last night I drove from Cheyenne WY to Burly ID.
So, I slept most of today.

Did a little yoga and meditation.

Read my Facebook and emails. Stopped in here.

Now I am off to work on the MS for book six. sunny
