Well, you know, the working draft. I'll print it out and go over it after the first of the month. But still...done.

This used to be a big thrill. But now it's more like...another one on the stack to try to flog. The "industry" really sucks the joy out of things.

And, realistically, even though it's really cool, I wonder if a major house would take it. I consider it a romance, but I gotta feeling most romance readers would NOT see it that way at all.

I may have become too steeped in my own degeneration for the mainstream and too professional for the underground.

It's called "Boneyard 11" by the way.

"The Boneyard" is convict term for the conjugal visiting areas for married prisoners. A dismal group of small trailers, in this case.

Don't get me wrong. There is a press that will definitely publish this. But I keep hoping to break into Prime Time while I can still remember it.

First of all lin....CONGRATULATIONS!!! Sounds like you could use a little pick me up now that the first draft is out of the way, and I strongly recommend tiramisu, liberally doused no less.

Maybe something you say here will ignite a spark that helps to get it published and off to the really big shew...got a few teaser details up your sombrero?

This merits a parade complete with band btw...you'll just have to pretend that it's a Mariachi band.

I strongly recommend tiramisu

I like how you think. Actually, this place down in the centro has really great nutella gelato.

(This isn't your ordinary small Mexican town)

Thanks madhatter.

I have a three-fold business plan:

1. Decompress
2. Identify industry targets
3. Make them my bitches

Nutella gelato? Nutella and gelato have to be two of my favourite things, aside from tiramisu of course. I am starting to rethink my never getting to Mexico--

My second favorite there is a kahula cream that they sift a layer of ground espresso beans over.

Lin I can see that you are decompressing already! Holy mackeral and I want some enhanced ice cream. Perhaps I'll make it my treat for when I get this book finished!
