For example I was watching the news the other day and they said that when you listen to music, your veins expand because you're relaxed. Also when you're listening to music, your stress level goes down.

I have been trying... the freakiest thing I heard is that cell phones might be killing the bees.
Has anyone heard that?

That I haven't heard? Killing the bees...? I've heard that cell phones could cause a certian cancer but that ISN'T true. How could cell phones be killing the bees?

Don't ask me. Interfering with their navigation systems I guess.
Sounds weird to me.

Out here, we are lucky if a cell phone gets a signal. I have seen people pulled over by the road standing on the top of their truck with their cell phone held high.

There are many, many species of bees. The one in question here is the honey bee. Virus and freezing, and mostly spraying of insecticides willy nilly by everyone from the homeowner to the commercial farmer is responsible for some of the decline of bees. The other thing is that most wild areas are mowed and so even clover and wildflowers are a lot more scarce than they were years ago. In fact, wild bee hives are on the decline because of habitat encroachment.

To bad there wasn't a way to get rid of spiders..Bats are fine even though they only come out at night. Well, most of them do anyway. Why do we need spiders when there's birds, bats and other animals that eat insects? Why spiders? (As you can tell I have a great distaste for spiders. Ha, ha.)

If you did a little research, you would find the worth of spiders on this earth is more than the worth of humans when it comes to the balance of nature. I am sorry you do not know. Without spiders, your world would not be as peaceful as you see it now. You are not alone. Most people consider that they are given the right to be on this earth without regard to other lives. I can only suggest that you learn what you do not know.

It's best when the two are combined

I was looking at a spider this day. It had lovely green eyes.

Lin, I imagine that Spiderman has done more to calm the fears of humans about spiders than any other voice.

Alice, it is only humans that think they are the end all be all of creation. Brains do not seem to be everything in the survival game.
These small creatures will still be here when mankind is extinct.

Spiders more valuble then humans? Mm..I find that hard to believe. Spiders are nasty, vile, and I must admit, very frightening creatures. Yes their web is valuble and stronger then steel. But it's not the spider that's valuble, it's their web that they make. Even if I did take the time to research spiders (which I very highly doubt I will) it won't change my opionion of spiders. I also find it hard to believe that spiders will be on the Earth when we go extinct. When the Earth is gone, humans will be gone. And when the Earth and humans are gone, so is everything else that existed. It's the way of God's world. (Not that the entire human race could be destroyed within a day.)

As far as I am aware the bees ( here in the UK and Europe) are all suffering from some sort of parasite infestation. Cell phones have been around for years and would have done the damage to the bees long ago so I don't think that the microwaves they give out are affecting them.

Well, we don't really have to worry about bees too much. There are tons of bees to go around. If not to many bees...

I don't think bees should be allowed to have phones anyway.

They never give me a buzz on my cell phone.
