Honey Bees

I have been thinking about this for a while....keeping bees. I will have to learn a lot. Anyone have experience with bee keeping. they are the most important insect on the planet.

Bees are leaving their nest, and not returning...I have heard it was because cell phones get them lost. They die, we follow.

No matter what you want to do there are always the gloom and doom people on the internet who cast a shadow.

I live out here in this wild place where bees are going about their business. There is a cell phone tower a half a mile away.
All around me are farms that depend on bees. People lease their hives to the farms for the particular season.

I have talked to these bee keepers. They say that a virus is the threat, not any electronic device. I believe them.

The other great threat is insecticidal spraying. It has to be a dance between the farmer, the sprayer and the bees for all to live. Timing controls the ballet.
