about moving to her new place, she's planning
an office...

Carol E mailed and said that Abe's wife said he came through the surgery, is weak, but holding on. God bless Abe!

I got another email from his son that he is doing well, but is weak.

He said they moved him out of ICU yesterday and have removed almost all the tubes. As of today he is able to stand by himself. He still tires rather quickly, but that is slowly improving too.

He is scheduled to leave the hospital and start rehab on the 19th.

We can't get the movers to move the furniture until June 6th, but we will become owners on Friday and will begin moving boxes, etc. We have been drawing little pictures of rooms and are looking forward to the move. I dream of my writing space!

It is in a very pretty neighborhood.

Thanks for the update about Abe! Good to see you. Isn't is amazing that two years ago you were starting to have difficulties walking and none of the medics seemed to be able to diagnose the exact problem? You have been through a great ordeal and you really deserve this move. I hope you get great joy from your office and continue to enjoy writing.

Thank you Shelagh and Joe. It was two years ago, Shelagh. When they finally made the diagnosis five months after symptoms first appeared, they said they could give me a few years. I hope for a few more.

I am glad Abe is doing well.

I am glad about your new house. I love new beginnings.

It is always a surprise to me that everyone up north is still cold. Here it is 94.

I put up a hummingbird feeder according to Joe's directions. This evening two of the smallest birds on earth sat right on it and had supper! What a smile it was to me.

Around here the weather has been weird,
winds 30 to 50 miles per hour, temperatures one
day 70 the next 50 , tonight going down to 38 !
In the last three weeks I've only seen one , he
hates the wind , I guess the rest of the gang will
follow soon, I'm waiting for the ones with the
beautiful colors....
