I reported an article on Live Journal for falsely accusing Marie Pacha. This is a screenshot of the report:



When I have finally deleted the remaining 80 of Marie's posts, I will be deleting her account. I will then remove this thread.

Doubtful. I've seen him do exactly the same crap on at least three other forums.

The messed-up thing is, he's getting craftier. A year ago he was brandishing his family histories as proof that he was a writer and not some frustrated code geek. He's learned not to do that and to cover his tracks.
He's mutating into monster! Aiyeeee!

I suppose we will just have to learn how to ignore him. It will be easier for me when I have finally deleted Marie's account. I'm almost there!

Forgive me for asking, Shelagh as I have been on and off the net these past few months. What exactly happened with Marie Pacha?

We don't know, Abdul. On Wed 17 Feb 2010, a guest started a thread with a post saying that the forum was being chronicled on a blog:

After reading the blog posts, I decided to set up a group for members who were regular posters. I then made the Chatter Box viewable by members of the group. Marie had not posted for quite some time. She appeared for the reunion and then disappeared, so I didn't add her name to the group.

On March 4th, Marie re-appeared and posted a message on the Suggestion board:

She was clearly displeased and asked to be allowed onto the Chatter Box so that she could delete all her posts. I asked if she would like to cancel her account here and she said she would if all her posts could be deleted. I am still in the process of deleting those posts. Then I will delete her account.

Marie threatened to sue me for changing her username and accused me of hiding her posts and not deleting them. She also gave a public apology to cdemu on the blog. Why she has done any of this is a mystery to everyone.

It does seem a bit out of character for Marie. I never take anything on these chat forums too seriously and I know that what we write here will not be acceptable as proof that we wrote them. Except to the very few friends here whom we've come to know somewhat well over many years, the rest of the world will not really believe or care...

Quite right, Abdul! With edit and delete buttons available to members, nothing has to stay the way it was first written.

Your point about friends believing us is well made too. I said that I had sent the above message to Live Journal, but I had to take the above screenshot to prove it for those who did not believe me (including Marie, who is taking screenshots of the forum on a daily basis -- creepy!).

Creepy and a monumental waste of time and energy.

I think that Shelagh thinks that someone here still cares about Marie Pacha.

Speaking for myself, she could get hit by a bus and it wouldn't spoil my appetite.
