were you able to do any writing on the boat?

Abe,
"Geronimo" is 42 years old. Her Keel bolts (all seven) need to be replaced. The knees for the standing rigging (six) need to be replaced. Some of the core in her deck need to be replaced.
Her Atomic-4 engine cooling system will be chnged from salt water to fresh.
Some of her interior wood work needs to be replace...and she needs a paint job.

The only writing I have been doing on her, is a must do list.
The company (1968 to 1980) built 30,000 boats, and they all have the same problems...I have yet heard an owner who would give up their Columbia for any other type boat.

I could write a book about "How to fix a Columbia sailboat." A good name: "A Hole in the Water...you keep throwing money into."

But, I love it.
