... for Edgar award consideration

http://www.publishersweekly.com/article/CA6710199.html

I searched the Edgar database to see how many times a Harlequin book had won an Edgar award (or been nominated. This was the result:

Edgar®️ Database

Harlequin -- Publisher
Award Category: All categories
Starting: All Years
Ending: 2009
Display: Winners -- Winners & Nominees

Sorry, no matches were found. Here are some tips:

* Broaden the search by specifying "All Categories" and/or "All Years"
* Try including "Nominees"
* If using a "Last Name" entry, check the "Unsure" box to find similar names in case of misspelling
* If you know only one word in the title or of a publisher/producer name, checking the "Unsure" box finds all entries containing that word

I read the article. So the MWA is dropping Harlequin as an "approved publisher" for MWA membership and Edgar Award status.

LOL! Like Harlequin gives a fat rat's ass. Writers need publishers a lot more than they need the MWA.

And funny about the Edgar Award. Isn't it a mystery award? Which would explain why no Harlequin -a romance press- authors won it, huh.
