When I lived in Germany there was a quark (sp) that tasted like a combination of cream cheese and whipped cream with a dash of tartness. I made a desert that was put in a tart shell like we use for strawberry tarts, only it was the size of a cake. I spread the quark and poured the cherry pie filling into the cake shell and topped with slivered almonds and whipped cream. Yours is prettier; mine was easier; they both are sumptuous. Yours looks more elegant.......and like a lot of work :-)

It's so easy to make , use 3 Packages of
Lady Fingers not 2...You can use any fruit.
This desert is so good, so rich , your guests
won't leave your house till you give them
the recipe....Try it...
