Hi, my legal name is Linda Yoshida but I write under Kaylin McFarren. My genres are contemporary women's fiction and action/adventure romance and I'm excited to announce that my first release, FLAHERTY'S CROSSING, is due out February 2010. This is a fun, inspirational story about love, loss and the power of forgiveness which became a RWA 2008 Golden Heart finalist and has won numerous awards. Are you really Irish or is that part of the pen name persona? I ask because I'm quite Irish and so is Neev, a key character in my recently released novel, Ghost Orchid. It's a small book with an emotional bang; maybe we might compare notes about our Irish approach to our stories.

I got bogged down in political writing for quite a while (last 8-10 years); not any longer! I'm now doing photography/graphics for publication covers and interiors (including my own) and any new books will be on environmental subjects - ecosystems, seasons, flowers, insects, etc..

I'd greatly appreciate any comments regarding my images and the one Album I've uploaded, Pennsylvania Autumn.
