| Loved Wilde's Dorian Gray. I've been know to accuse a few people who seem to refuse to age that they must have a painting hidden in their attic.
I have written here lately about several fictional characters I would like to meet: Michael Wireman of The Falling Torch, the self-effacing young man who did not believe he was capable of being a leader until he was thrust into circumstances where it was up to him to save Earth from invaders, and he learned he was much more a man than he had thought himself to be, and Ruby Thewes of Cold Mountain, the industrious young woman who rose above her background and taught the heroine, Ada Monroe, how to run a farm. There's David ap Llewellyn of Sharon Kay Penman's Falls the Shadow, who might have saved Wales and changed the course of history had he lived long enough. Most definitely I would love to spend some time with Ian Dunross, taipan of Noble House by James Clavell.
May I reserve the right to post here again after I've had more time to think?

| I'd choose Sam Spade and Phillip Marlowe. Nick Charles, too, if he'd bring Nora along. |

| There are many people I'd like to have met just to hear their version of events. For example, I'd ask Mary Magdalene about her pregnancy. |
