Amazon.com Author Pages

Have you noticed that the profiles of authors at Amazon.com have changed?

Amazon.com now has new "Author Pages" (I tried to post the never ending url that goes to my new "Author Page." as an example.)

If you previously had a profile, the new Author Page only contains your books (which are removed with your blog from the original profile page.)

It came as a surprise to me, and I updated the Author Page using their info.

Like other changes, the Author Pages are harder to find than the profiles. I found mine accidentally by typing in "books" then "D. K. Christi" and the new "Author Page for D. K. Christi" icon appeared at the top of the list. I followed it to discover the new beta Author Pages.

Um, I didn't even know I could put an author page on Amazon.

Thank you for teaching me something new.

Yeah, I wish they hadn't done that because I had to re-do my bio. The old profile is still there, though. When you click on an author's name underneath the title of his book, the author page is what comes up first rather than a list of that author's books.
