Twice I have tried to reply to domenic's question about a program, and both times, after typing in a reply and hitting send, this message pops up : 'No post mode specified'

I don't know how to correct it, and poor domenic probably thinks he's being ignored! Sad

Oh dear! I managed to make a post. However, yesterday I typed in a long response to kdu in the quick reply box and then hit the "post reply" button instead of send. I decided that I wasn't meant to make that reply and typed in a much shorter one. kdu hasn't visited the forum since I made the post -- unless, of course (s)he logged out and is lurking. Surely not. Suspect

Where is the 'post reply' button? So you mean the one under the box, nothing by the other two. All I see is 'preview' and 'send' directly under the reply box. I must have hit the wrong button. That's what I get for being in a hurry!

Check the Internet, Zada. No doubt, you'll discover a clever program in the $300 range that will explain what you've done wrong and help you right it.

I'm sure there must be such a program. If there isn't I'll set one up right away. There's money to be made out there.

Maybe a new pair of glasses and slower fingers would do the trick?

I have a problem most every morning, but I think - repeat, "think" I figured it out. My morning time on my PC, usually between 6 and 7 Am, which is 12PM and 1 AM EST, is checking emails, and then I go to this forum, click on the posts since last logon, and while in the process of reading, I get bumped from the system. Sometimes I'm writing a post and that is lost when I try to post it. I figure that the system goes down for maintenance. When I finally get back online, all the information about the recent posts are wiped out. It does give some explanation why I may miss commenting on something or be late in responding.

I think you are right, Abe. Perhaps it is a 'refresh' time that does not coincide with the time zones in which we reside. The little orange icons that denote 'new' posts disappear for me in mid afternoon, and I just have to look for anything that has been added time wise since my last visit. I don't catch them all.
