Principal/principle Remember, in school they told you the principal was your pal. He probably wasn’t, but it’s a good spelling rule.


This was my favorite one--It is embarassing to me that even though I am an acountant--I have to stop and think about this one.

I learned the principal is your pal trick years ago, too, Alice. I still use it today!

Dessert has two s's because eating them will make you fat. Desert has only one.
