| Is this who was posting here as "iloveamy"?
Because Paul Anik, who had a review blog of that name, passed away, which is really a shame. |

| How awful, lin. I just assumed the 'iloveamy' was a woman. I guess we'll have to wait and see if they log in again. |

| We have a few mystery people here. But, what do we really know? We might have a whole lot of mystery people here. Carol |

| To quote Mr. Twain, the rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. On a more serious note, it is indeed sad that Mr. Anik passed away so suddenly. He was well-respected in mystery circles and gave thoughtful and insightful reviews. From all accounts he was a true fan of the genre and did more than his part to promote it. This past December he reviewed "The Charlemagne Pursuit" by Steve Berry (who recently replaced Gayle Lynds as Co-President of ITW). I read his review after I read the book, and I must say he was spot on in his critique as far as I am concerned. Thanks for your concern Lin! I am very much alive, but under a strict deadline so my play time is severely curtailed. |

| Robert Oleander, posting his many mystery messages from his home in the Nothern Polish country of Grabbabushco, is another person who posts as LOVESAMYSTERY. Strangely, his name also shortens to LOVESAMY, when he posts on line, but in his case, he actually does love Amy, as that is the name of his second mistress.
RO, as he is called now and then, is not dead, but has hinted that me may be thinking of it reasonably soon. He will not commit suicide, but thinks that it is his destiny to be hit by a horse and buggy while filming a western movie with Clint Eastwood and Peggy Fleming.
LOVESAMY, or RO, has written nothing that anyone outside of Grabbabushco has ever read, but is very popular in certain circles and squares in Greenland and Haagsland.
Hope this clears up the mystery of LOVESAMY, although I don't think RO is the person who is posting here.

| Hmmmm. Corrected that. Guess that shows how much attention I've been paying to whatever name whoever this is posts under. The question is, how much do I care who this is? |

| Boy, I'll bet you didn't even listen to "I Love a Mystery" on radio when you were a kid. It was about three guys who loved a mystery. |

| They wouldn't have been Moe, Curly, and Larry, would they? I hear they loved Amy quite well and quite often. |

| No worries Mr. Harpe, I am very sure not knowing who am I will not deter you in any way from proceeding down life's path. |

| I love not knowing who lovesamystery and LC are.
But then again, I wonder.
And when Dick goes to the convention, Lovesamy will be there, and then he can solve the mystery for us.
However, he loves a mystery also and just might let us sit and wonder some more.

| You have that exactly right old top. Nor will it require me to place any additional thought on your posts, as they seem to have no credibility at all. TTFN

| Shelagh, I surely do! We'll have to visit some mysterious places when I am next across the pond. Thanks Carol. You are very sweet. I enjoy reading your posts. I am going to name a character after you in one of my future works. True the cat will be out of the bag when I have the honor of hob-nobbing with Dick in October, although it will not be much of a cat! You should join us, it will be loads of fun! To those who take issue with those of us who prefer to remain anonymous, I would first say that I am no one of consequence. That being said, I have a lot of respect for the power of the Internet and have no wish to expose myself to any of her negative forces at this point in time. Besides, such is the power of the Internet that no matter who you say you are, you could still be anyone until it is confirmed in person. And I do not presume to post anything that is not my personal opinion or experience, nor do I post to persuade anyone to follow a path not of their choosing. I could understand someone taking an issue with my anonymity if that were the case, but since it is not the choice to remain anonymous should be respected as much as the choice to not. |

| I promise you Lin, when I am dead you'll be the first to know. And I will deliver the news "in person" .... P.S. Perhaps you'll come to Bouchercon as well ...? You, Dick and I can wreak havoc and leave murder and mayhem in our wake (unless Carol comes and then we'll have to behave). |
