Does anyone here use the Safari Web Browser, or know how to enable it to accept new posts?

I am not familiar with that one, but have used the Mozilla Firefox for several years and I really like it. Much faster and safer than IE.

I use MoZilla Firebox also Mel. It gives me the best protection and functions extremely well.

I'm afraid the forum doesn't support Safari, Ann.

Thanks, guys.

I've tried Firefox, and eventually went back to IE. I recently started using Safari. I generally like it better than either IE or Firefox, but it has the reply boxes greyed out, and won't let me post.

I'm thinking it must be a security setting, but can't figure out which one.

Ah, thanks Shelagh, I just caught your post. Bummer. I guess I'll have to keep both available.

Firefox has recently upgraded to a newer version. I'd give it another try.

Ann,

I use Safari and love it. Don't give up too quickly as the forum does work with it.

Sometimes I get kicked off, but then I just ask for a new password. Sorry, Shelagh if that causes you extra work. I think it is when I shut my computer down or change something, but I've always gotten back on.

Thanks, Carol. I can log on with Safari, I just can't post. I recently got an iPhone, and Firefox doesn't like Yahoo for some reason. I'll work it out. Thanks, all for the advice.

Ann,

I can't have both Firefox and Safari open at the same time. I got Firefox for some information I put on amazon, but keep it closed most of the time because it interferes with Safari.

And my old Firefox did not like my Yahoo mailbox, which I still use because my internet source is ATT.

I've downloaded a newer version and will give it a try.

I have Yahoo working fine with Firefox alj. The only time I have problems is when the web connection decides to go slow. AOL seems very picky at times. Wink
