I have a question-why do you both not use your real names? This came up on a forum I am on and I am just curious.

Philip,

My full name is Jeanette Victoria Woodall. I was Howard before I married. So you could say that Victoria Howard is my name.

I chose to write under a pen name for the simple reason that I thought Victoria Howard sounded more like a suspense romance writer than Jeanette W. did. You have to admit its easier to remember too! Cool

Hi Philip,

I publish under a pen name because there are a lot of Pam Robertson's around, one of whom is an editor and I needed to stand out (I thought). The last name is my grandmother's maiden name and Maggie is a name I would have called one of my daughter's if The Simpson's had not been so popular on TV.

If you google Maggie Bendar, so far I am the only one.
