Literally, I am the new KID on the block. I'm only 22 years old, and have decided to embark on a new career in literature as a writer of young adult novels. While my first ms has yet to be published / completed I feel I am well on my way with the first 16,000 words written. I will not stop until my ms consists of at least 80,000 words.

While I realize the name of this forum is published authors ,and I have yet to be a published author, I hope that in the near future I will be a member of this group of published authors. Therefore I've decided to set up camp as a joiner of this forum. I hope to meet new interesting people and obtain feedback on my style of writing as well as my idea for my new novel. I am so excited y'all!!! Very Happy

Welcome Sarah Mo! New Kid on the Block 591890

As far as marketing goes, it depends on who publishes your book. If you choose to self-publish, you will need to do all of your own marketing; however, if you are published by one of the big publishing houses, they will work with you on marketing and will do a lot of the work to get your book out there on bookstore shelves.

When you're ready to seek out a publisher, remember to research carefully. Some publishers that may look great on the service, may not be your best choice.

The website for Preditors & Editors http://anotherealm.com/prededitors/peba.htm is a good resource.

Again, weclome to PA!!
