| Hello to everybody,
Now that I've infiltrated your ranks, I might as well reveal that I'm not actually a published author, though I hope to be one soon. I'm going to try and publish a few of my short stories to get a foot in the door, and then I hope to move on an actual novel I've been working on.
I look foward to getting to know all of you and hopefully learning from you as well. If anyone is just dying to help an aspiring author get on his literary feet with some advice or inspiration, feel free to drop a line.

I'm not Don, but I can tell you the Amazon Shorts program is closed to new contributions. Either what they had planned didn't work out, or perhaps they're planning to try something else.
But you might try perfecting your story and submitting it to an anthology. Several writers' forums have one, and it's one way to get started. |

Sorry for the delay, been off line for awhile. I was lucky enough to get in on the Short Story program at the beginning and had three shorts accepted. They have since dropped the program.
