Election day: Is it over? Can we come out now?

I relish the thought that it will be over, but I am sure there will be lots of contested results, especially in this state. The last race for governor was a joke. After three recounts, our present governor finally won by only a handful of votes! I guess it was a matter of 'recount until you get the results you want'! Murmurs of discarded ballots, dead people voting, prisoners voting...you get the idea. I wonder how much ACORN had to do with it?

It's a beautiful election day in Ohio and everywhere else in the region. In Akron it's sunny with the temperature 70 degrees, unheard of in the past for this time of year. Many trees have changed colors and many leaves have fallen, yet looking at the hills in the distance shows that most are still on the trees and green is the predominant color. Times have changed.

There is beautiful weather in many parts of the country today, signalling what might be the largest voter turnout in history.

Could it be that change really is coming?
