| Have you had one of those days--I know you all have--when so many road blocks come your way, you start to wonder... The novel sits in its little mailer, ready to shove off to the agent tomorrow. But, you wouldn't believe what I went through to get it there. At one point, I started laughing!  The computer. Then, the printer. Then, the ink....then... you get the idea. I am nothing, if not determined. Or, crazy. Or, both.  |

Funny you should say that Rhet. Lately I've caught myself laughing a lot more, also When you write e-mails to organisations over the internet. Nine times out of ten you don't expect to get a reply. The one time when you do, it sticks out like a voice from God... a miracle of biblical (or quranic, as the case may be) proportions. (No one can hear you scream in outer space. You die a very silent death ) |

| No. Two elk decided to stop in chat in the middle of the highway. It was a very dark night. I didn't see them until it was too late ... for them. Truck was in the shop for five days. It was terrible. My company decided it was the elks' fault not the elf's fault. Sorry Mad! Not sure how this happened ....  |
