German news reports that the month of March was the warmest ever recorded.á I don't know if that is related to global warming or just a fluke.
Spring has sprung.á My fruit trees are full of blossoms and beautiful to behold.á I also noticed bees buzzing around the flowers and that is a positive thing.á Bees have been on the decline prompting some landowners to build bee hives.á It seems to be working as there are now more bees visible than in the past few years.á

The green sheen from the budding leaves is a reminder of the cycle of life.

In the UK, the warmest March day ever was recorded in 1968, with a high of 25.6C recorded in Mepal, Cambridgeshire. On March 18th, 1988, we had a picnic in Scotland!
