| What an idea! Let's make someone famous. Need to decide on the fame and then orchestrate it. So, Zada, how do you want to be known? Glamorous, rags to riches, or perhaps even an alien. I'm sure Ahad can come up with some scenario. |

| If only one of these best selling authors had done somethng to merit success it would be easier to swalow.
In Governor Paln's case purchasing $150,000.00 of desiger cothes and having interviews where she speaks in volumes and in such a round about manner--I can't even decipther her meanng.
Oh well, at least she never killed anyone.
I think I will pass on her book. If someone gives it to me I will try to read it |

| Pam,
Good question. If Sarah wrote it there will be but one long sentence--think of it-- 200 pages of Joe the Plumber.
Thanks but no thanks!
It willl be the book to nowhere.
You are cheering me up. |

| Not surprising. (What would be surprising is big sales for a book on Biden )
Whatever people of think of her, she's had a rather interestesing life. Athlete, beauty queen, wilderness adventure, governor, candiate.
If a romance or bestseller character had that resume even Judith Kranz readers might have trouble swallowing it.
Naturally she didn't write it. Kennedy didn't write Profiles in Courage, either. You won't know the writer's name because theat's what "ghost writer" means.
My question would be, did Obama write his books? |

| I don't think she ever claimed to have written it. I think someone else wrote it about her and that it is in third person. However, Sarah's becoming famous has propelled the book into popularity. |

| She certainly has gotten the spotlight, that's for sure.
Hmmm ... Maybe I should run for office. Do 'dogcatchers' ever make the news? |

| Zada,
If you managed to catch a doberman wearing lipstick who had just bitten a hocky mom who was trying to summon Joe the plummer to unclog her pork barrel, you would be very famous .
You could always fake it--it takes them awhile to catch on. Send around a few emails about it--you will have firm believers--I am already one. |

| Or bite a dog. That will make the news. Not a doberman or rottweiler, some little dog. |

| Don't think I will want to tackle a doberman, rottweiler or pitbull, but a little dog would not be too bad. After all, 'man bites dog' is news, so maybe 'woman bites dog' would be too! But I don't know how I would rope Joe the plumber into it, unless the little dog was caught in the sewer! But if he had been in the sewer, I don't think I would want to bite him until he'd had a bath!! (The doggie, not Joe!) |

| Surprise, I just thought I was sick and tired of Palin. I like her clothes. I found a pink top like hers for under $100.00 and bought it. She should have had me do her shopping. I could have saved her a lot of fuss.

| She could have made a bigger splash if she hadn't worn any clothes. Think of the savings. Think of the ravings. |

| We couldn't have seen so much of her--she'd have landed in the jailhouse or the looney bin. I had better get over her. She lost and I am so glad. Maybe I should try to stop gloating,
I will work on that.
The anti-Obama folks do not give up. I got an email last nght comparing him to Hitler.
I got irritated and replied, "The election is over--Thank Goodness. I hope he does well--I voted for him."
I do like Palin's clothes and Tina Fey's impersonations of her. It was fun--and I miss it,. |

| What got me about her candidacy was the way the opinion-makers jumped all over her for, essentially, not being suave manhattanites like themselves.
Americans aren't supposed to hunt or play sports or do beauty pageants or drop their 'g's".
Or if so should have the good grace to do so out of sight of the media. |
