Love pansies - like so many little faces of brilliant colors. When we had a small trailer on a small lake in Michigan, our first ritual of spring was planting the pansies.

Inspired by Ann's joy thread, here's what's giving me joy at the moment:

A bit of colour in the garden Garden10

This is a photo taken last summer. The garden has been neglected for the last few years -- my summers have been taken up with editing stories and poems for anthologies, writing short stories and writing a sequel to Mr. Planemaker's Flying Machine. This summer, I have put as much effort into the garden as I did into publishing in previous years. I look at the fourteen books I have published since 2008 with the same amount of pleasure as I do when looking out onto my garden. Life is good.

I'll upload new photos of the garden when I've taken them!
