QUESTIONS I WOULD ASK PRES. OBAMA AT THE DEBATE

These are the questions I would ask Pres. Obama at the debate,what are yours ?

1. With our military men being killed every week in Afghanistan, why are you

waiting till 2014 to bring them home ? Why not bring them home now ?

2. After the murder of our ambassador in Lybia why hasn't the govt. stopped

all aide to Libya , Egypt and any other country that attacked our embassys?

3. Seniors in this country are hurting financially, why not give them a 10% increase

in their SS checks every year ? How do you plan to help seniors ? After all Congress

always gives themselves a very nice increase ?

4. Will you lower the Corp. tax so business can bring back manufacturing to this country ?

5. How would you deal with China and their trade policies ?

Good questions, Joe.

I especially like #3. If government employees receive an increase, even if it is a cost of living adjustment, then the Seniors should get the same percentage increase.

My questions would be:

How will you get the cooperation of Congress to pass the much needed legislation for Jobs that the Republicans have been preventing from moving forward?

Do you have a plan for building cooperative relationships among the diverse opinion leaders who are needed to continue moving the country forward?

How will you continue building international cooperation in the area of foreign aid so that the burden is shared among the developed countries? And will the cooperation include performance objectives that must be met by the receiving governments?

Have you looked at the prison industry and the drain on capital and human resources as we continue to incarcerate instead of educate? Do you have a plan to reverse this trend?

What will be the first steps to improve the status of immigration legislation?

How do you plan to undertake the politically controversial tax code overhaul?

It's obvious that Social Security needs taxation of all income for the lifetime of an employee's work history. How soon will this be implemented?

When will the power of the pharmaceutical industry be challenged so that drugs are universally affordable and drug ads on television are no longer lucrative to the industry?

What can you do about the campaign financing debacle?

How can we harness the creative and intellectual power of the boomer generation forced into retirement by the demise of jobs? It seems time for a "Senor Corps" paid for by private industry funding.

Corporate power to damage the environment for future generations is insidious. How will you balance the need for jobs and the need to protect resources for the future?

What awful thing did you do that you are atoning for by seeking a second term as President of the USA?

All very good questions.....We're getting better than the

news media.....But I do wish that all troops come home at

once ! As far back as I could remeber even at 18 I could

never figure out why we were drafting young people to fight

in other countries or send them to Iraq , Afghanistan, I'm

against young people being sent to their deaths for no good

reason ! My family and I were lucky we weren't drafted for

Vietnam, thank God. To me the only time the military should be

used is if this country is being attacked, I could see WW 2 because

there was a nut ( Hitler) in the world who was killing millions of people.

Joe, the fact that Hitler was exterminating people was not known at the time we engaged in war. Hitler made the mistake of declaring war on America.
The attack on Pearl Harbor was an attack against America. We responded with force and became involved in a World War.

I believe in defense. I do not believe in invading any country or starting a war.
