Valentine's day approaching

The most romantic day of all is fast approaching and we'll all be secretly hoping for a surprise Valentine's card. Oh. Maybe that's just me. B

The best valentine's gifts are gifts of the heart that do not cost a fortune but are related to something special. As an example, Ghost Orchid by D. K. Christi is a novel about the mystical and very real ghost orchid and its impact on love, lies and redemption among a group of photographers and their extended families. The beauty of the surroundings and the emotions as the characters discover secrets long burried make it a beautiful book to give someone you love.

I recommend accompanying the book with a live orchid plant. If it's your true and only love, then a white orchid is most symbolic. For ordinary love, any orchid will do. The ghost orchid is rare and endangered and best left in its natural habitat.

Orchids are the most evolved of the plant kingdom and therefore the gift of an orchid or the story of an orchid represents care and consideration.

Of course, on Valentine's day, a pretty card is the right companion for a gift of reading and a gift of beauty, both lasting gifts.

I would be happy for just a card on Valentine's Day. There are a few phone calls that would brighten my day.

Let's see. What gift would I enjoy? Well, I would need a girlfriend first before we start discussing gifts. Feb. 14 is just another day for me, nothing special. I think I'm scheduled to work which means eight hours of boredom. Guess I'll write.
