Ghost-Hunting Empty
PostSubject: Ghost-Hunting   Ghost-Hunting EmptySat Aug 29, 2009 8:26 am

I was invited to go Ghost-hunting tonight! It was suppose to be last night but everyone got the date wrong. I have been to the house twice now, so I feel a bit better about joining in.

This is a new, inexperienced group: this being their 2nd house. They are county sheriffs that started this group.

This is a new venture for me, and I am very excited!

Sue,

I saw on Facebook that you were going to do that, and googled the town and the ghost.

Very interesting.

John just handed me a book the homeowner gave us last night. He read it and said I HAD to read it before we go tonight. Seems there is a lot more to it that was never put in other media.

It is a very interesting and documented case. Whether one believes in ghosts or not, this part of history does indicate there is something going on that we have very little knowledge about.

Sue,

I usually go ghost hunting with a group of people on Samhain and it is very eerie just to even be out there.

I think ghost hunting is a wonderful hobby especially when those sounds of white noise come in Smile

I received a call from one of the leaders of the group with the results on tape and sound.

The woman and two little girls showed up that I had seen. There were other faces in the windows and an apparition that my husband had seen.

Voices were heard. The name of the girl they were trying to contact was spoken. At the end a woman's voice said good-bye.

This was all from the first team: the one I worked with. The second team won't have their results in for another week. Then they are putting it on a DVD and I will be given a copy. After I see it, I can tell you more about what they found.

John and I go out again with the same group on Sept 12th to two graveyards that have documented sightings.

Ghost-Hunting Empty
PostSubject: Re: Ghost-Hunting   Ghost-Hunting EmptyTue Sep 01, 2009 1:07 pm

It all depends on the group and where the haunting is. They can turn nasty or be just regular ole people. *grin* Fear attracts the negative spirits.

I noticed one of the guys' face changed twice while he was there. I found out yesterday that on the way to the site he stated he wouldn't mind being possessed. The minute his foot touched the ground, they had him. No one realized it but me: that was only because of the face change. I believe it was revealed to me because I have the ability to see them in whatever form they take. As I was saging and cleansing them to go home, his original face returned. Again, I was the only one who noticed. Sometime we don't see things right in front of us, or we have preconceived ideas how someone should look, so we don't see the change.

I stated his face changed twice. Since I didn't see his face before he left the vehicle I originally thought the baby-face that I was seeing was his. That was until I saw the face he went home with. The second face, and the one that drew my attention to this phenomena, had a very long Pinnochio nose and sunken cheeks. Same clothes but entirely different face. This face later changed to his going-home baby-face.

The spirits were playing with him and with me. They have sense of humors too. *grin*

If you ladies will come to Akron I will get out my old bed sheet and make you ooh and aah. As I told you once before I am an old hand at this and as a result was once in serious trouble with an Army captain. The guy I scared with the sheet over my head took off running through the woods screaming. When he wasn't back by the next morning I had some explaining to do.
So I'm available anytime, girls. Let me know when you want to be scared. My ghostly sounds will send shivers up and down your spines.

Thanks, Dick. Don't worry if you can't find an old bed sheet; I'm sure you will manage just fine without one. affraid

Dick and Shelagh:

I don't know about you two!

I'm afraid it would take more than a bedsheet or even Dick without a sheet to 'spook' me, and I am sure Sue feels the same.

Gosh, Halloween is just around the corner. OOOOOOH !!Little ghosts and goblins having fun always makes me smile.

Ghost-Hunting ConfusedHi
There are such funny stories about ghosts...I did ghost hunting for a while but
It was not my style as those who were with me as witnesses were scared as was my driver. We often laugh now...But that has to unfold in a new book I will not give the game away but well worth looking out for in the future...
Please call by my website and see all the history, photographs and more...

I do not believe in ghosts; I don't think I believe in ghosts. Yet, a spirit of my friend's neighbor moved a chair in the house I was watching to the location where he used to sit and chat with her in the kitchen. I knew he was there...but I don't believe in ghosts.

My book, Ghost Orchid, is about more than the flower, the ghost orchid. It is about the possibility that the ghost orchid embodied a spiritual entitity - or something like that - or nothing at all to the non-believer. It's up to the reader to believe - or not.

However, there is a "cool breeze" that greets walkers on the boardwalk that approaches the real ghost orchid of Corkscrew Swamp..........and for the rest that was incorporated in the story, you'll need to read it.

It is said of the ghost orchid flower that it symbolizes the manifestation of the soul; and it is often placed on graves.

http://www.ghostresearch.org/ghostpics/

This was posted on another forum I read. Interesting pics. The site is a bit dated, though, as the owner (who has written a book on ghost hunting) only refers to the best kind of film to use to capture ghosts. Wonder how they show up with digital cameras?

I gave up ghost-hunting due to the frustration of trying to have them stuffed and mounted.

Is that before or after you knocked the stuffing out of them?

That whole "difficult to mount and stuff" factor affects my attitude about the pursuit of women, as well.
