Just read your blog. Good information. Where were you when I needed you?

Glad you like it, Abe. I'm so involved in my wip that I haven't been keeping up. But if I can help in any way, just yell.

After reading the first two paragraphs I thought, "Well, she's finally jumped her trolley." Fortunately I was wrong. Pretty good advice. I was going to leave a comment but after "How many murders has the protagonist committed?" I ran out of ideas.

You can't think of a comment, Dick? Perhaps the smoke from your pipe is clouding your brain.

Well, I guess I'll shut down my blog and try something else. I'm pure amateur in the company of greatness! I sure enjoyed your blog.

Me, DK? Wow, what a compliment, thank you! Even makes up for listening to ol' stodgy.

And for heaven's sake, don't ever think about shutting down any part of your writing. I'm still hoping you'll post one of your first chapters.

But Brenda, you forgot to say you're hoping I will post one of my first chapters. An oversight, I'm sure. I don't write in chapters, of course, believing that if a story can't be told in 10,000 or fewer words it shouldn't be told. However, a year ago I did post the first episode of the story Deathtown that will be in the November issue of Alfred Hitchcock. I know you are still cherishing those words. I have to say your comments on Don Harpe's thread and under my driver's license photo fell somewhat short of being kind. Would you like a framed copy of that picture for your bedside table?

Dick, I so appreciate your generosity, but I just read that one is supposed to look at something good before sleep to lessen the chance of nightmares.
