My friend's husband was the judge in M.J.'s civil suit in Santa Inez when M.J. was bitten by a recluse spider. She said his handlers were as pitiful as he was; she felt sorry for him. She and her husband helped him get a better physician. She sat with him in one of the court waiting rooms. He was soft spoken and very polite.

F.F. was just a beautiful woman, and I never read anything to indicate she was anything but a quality person trying to find her place in her chosen career. I would look at her and at myself and say, "It's possible to age without looking old; look at her."

Each in their own way represented Hollywood, it's excitement and its tragedies.

I feel sad. I didn't know either but the media provides more info about hollywood stars than we know about our own friends; it leads us to believe we know the stars. Of course, that isn't so. Yet, I feel sad.

MJ's financial advisors apparently weren't any better than his handlers. According to this article, he died $400 million in debt. Spent $20-$30/million a year more than he earned. Sorry, but I just can't imagine the decadence. Sad day in Hollywood? Even sadder day for the banks, lol.

I followed Farrah's documentary of her cancer treatments and believed that she'd beat it. It was very sad to hear that the cancer kept coming back. And now she's gone.

Hearing that Michael Jackson died later in the day was a double whammy. It's a shame. He was just about to make a come back. I would've loved to see what he could do at the age of 50. Very sad day.
