is a unique work of creative non-fiction entitled Jim & Nancy: Two Paths Merged by War (self-published in 2015 - about a thousand copies sold). I was recently shown a photograph of my parents that I had never seen before.

My first book... 099Su2o

The best I can tell, Dad is wearing his Expert Infantry Badge; this would date the photograph before his deployment to France (August or September of 1944). He would be wearing his Combat Infantry Badge instead of the EIB after returning to England in September of 1945. Besides, he doesn’t have that gaunt, post-combat look that he wore after returning from Germany. I would think this is taken in my grandparents’ Eastleigh garden. For a trip in a time machine, consider reading my prior generation’s stories in Jim & Nancy: Two Paths Merged by War. dannycreasy.net #ww2 #warbride #greatdepression https://www.amazon.com/Jim-Nancy-Two-Paths-Merged/dp/1457540312/ref=pd_bxgy_14_img_2/139-1997584-2279116?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=1457540312&pd_rd_r=faf572ed-1a0c-11e9-a1d6-d7c18bc79752&pd_rd_w=EJK0X&pd_rd_wg=rRVr5&pf_rd_p=3f9889ac-6c45-46e8-b515-3af650557207&pf_rd_r=9KZHQJGRS7EY374B1458&psc=1&refRID=9KZHQJGRS7EY374B1458
