| Thank you for your loyalty. I have not read as many but have read several. I just don't read as much anymore - period. The newspaper keeps me busy and I've had many distractions. I used to read at night, but "tired eyes" have limited my reading.
I will try to do better. It helps to read our colleagues books since they reflect an aspect of who they are and how they see life. |

| Abe, your son was writing a cozy mystery a while back, and i did a beta read. I thought it was pretty good. How's he doing with it? |

| Would like to add Alice Crooker's Peas, Pills, and Parkinson's and Betty Fasig's Tales of Wooffer's Woods
Shelagh's Mr. Planemaker series; Al's Off the Wall Stories; Abe's To Beirut and Back; Anne Lebrecht's Memories of a Forgotten Past, along with several others from the old PAMB.
Haven't read all the books on Abe's list, but at least one of most of the authors.
Lots of very good writers here.

| Al, I think he tried the traditional route and has shelved it for the time being. He is very busy right now with a new firm and is in Turkey. Expect him to visit the first week of July. I'll ask him about his intentions. Thanks for asking. I'll mention that to him also. |

| Just amended my original post. I forgot to include Alice's "Peas, Pills & Parkinson's". That was my first read of her books and I believe, her first book. |

| I just had a walk down memory lane thanks to your post. I went back to the hidden pages from my web site and there were four pages of books from Publish America authors who shared the Publish America Message Board and attempted to help each other even then. I wonder how many of those authors became successful and how many are still writing? |

| Would you believe! They were links to Amazon.com - remember the picture of the book cover in a square with the link to Amazon.com - well, they have disappeared! I have the pages and they are blank.
That was in 2006 that I made those pages. In 2013 all those contracts with PA would have ended and PA would have pulled the books from their offerings.
I am disappointed. There are a few names I remember because they post here or at Facebook and are still going ... |

| Okay, if we are showing lists here, I will not compete. I will say, however that I have read the published writing of Betty, Abe, Alice, Tory, E.Don, Carol, Alice Shelagh, Dick, DT, Don, Al, LC and more I can't think of at this moment. I did not, however, read the novels to the end in every case and in some cases I read short stories or chapters. I read enough to recognize the talent that posts to this forum.
Some of the writers I started to read simply write outside my reading pleasure with more than I wish to read of mayhem, murder, sex and violence. It doesn't mean the publications are less than great, just that they are not in my taste. |
