The Right to Write Fund, which assisted in the defense of the lexicon writer, has set up a fund to assist other authors with legal problems. You can catch that article from Publishers Weekly here:

I find it ironic that a group called Right to Write would be defending somebody who was basically asking the court for the Right to Copy.

The Internet has, I think, made people feel a right to copy and paste whatever they want.

I agree, Malcolm. There is a way, I think to make pages 'uncopyable'. Wish I knew what it was.

I have had some of my blogs pirated. I let the person know this was unacceptable without asking and giving credit. I will probably never hear about it, but it made me feel better to air my displeasure.
