| Recently, I have been bothered with my eye lids twitching at odd and inconvienent moments to the point that I have done a little research. It seems that the eyelids are controlled, in part, by the facial muscles around the mouth.
Well, then! you may ask what I have discovered. It is so lovely and small and great!!!!
What my problem is, and what has caused my eye lid spasms is that I do not laugh enough. I found that if I am having an eye lid twitch, if I stop and laugh out loud, the eye in question gets a better attitude and leaves off with the twitching. I am so used to laughing to my self without the use of these muscles around my mouth (sort of a mental laugh out loud) that I have neglected the real thearpy of the old fashioned belly laugh.
Who knew? I love big laughing.
Love, Betty |

| I am soooo glad you shared that with us, Betty!!!! My eye twitches for other reasons (Bell's Palsy being one of them). I catch myself smiling at the t.v. when nothing funny is on. I guess I am just a smiler.
Thanks again, Betty! |

| And all this time, I just thought it was a case of 'nerves' or something. My left eye muscles twitch both under and over the orb itself. Just once in a while. I shall have to try your remedy the next time I notice it. Isn't that what my mother used to call a nervous tic? |

| Seriously? If eyelid twitching occurs because you don't laugh enough mine should be going up and down like an elevator. |

| This is amazing. I thought I was involuntarily winking but instead I was twitching? |
